Arthur James Kring, age 85, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at his residents, of natural causes, on May 5, 1967.

Arthur was born June 13, 1882, in Wakelee, Cass County, Michigan.
The son on William and Matilda (Gindlesberger) Kring, of Portage Twp., St. Joseph County, Indiana.

On June 3, 1903, in South Bend, In., Arthur married the former Addie Almada Rough, of South Bend. Born March 8, 1881, in South Bend, died Jan. 22, 1970, in Plymouth, Marshall County, In… Addie was the daughter of Henry S. and Susan H. (Sellers) Rough, of Wakelee, Michigan.

Arthur and Addie were Farmers by trade. The Kring's lived on Addie's father's farm , and Arthur helped Mr. Rough work the farm.
Arthur also worked as a carpenter, he would do carpentry work for their neighbors and people in town, when needed.
Arthur found religion as a small boy. The Kring's were members of the Lutheran Church in St. Joseph County.

From the marriage of Arthur and Addie, seven children were born:
