Juanita Phares, 50, Del Norte, died Thursday after a short illness. Funeral services were held at Monte Vista Saturday with Rev. Aniel Hight officiating. Mrs. Phares lived here the past three years, the family coming here from Bayfield. Roy, her husband, is an owner/manager of Wolf Creek Industries.
Mrs. Phares was born in Skytoo, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Hattie Buse. She and Roy were married 29 years ago.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Sandra Davies, Montrose and Patricia Phillips, Monte Vista; a son, Samuel, Del Norte; three brothers; two sisters; and 8 grandchildren.
