Memorial services for Marie Bybee Ratliff, 89, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Spur, Texas with the Reverend Larry Burton officiating. Burial is under the direction of Martins Funeral Home in Granbury and Campbell Funeral Home in Spur.

Marie Ratliff died Sept. 4 at Granbury Care Center.

She was born June 18, 1914, in Childress. She married Judge L.D. Ratliff, March 12, 1933, in Hollis, Okla., and they moved to Spur where she lived for 64 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Ratliff; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mc. D. Bybee; and two brothers, Owen Bybee of Hereford and M.D. Bybee of Childress, Texas. She was married to Judge L.D. Ratliff, March 12, 1933 in Hollis, Oklahoma, and moved to Spur, Texas with her husband where she lived for 64 years. She was preceded in death by her husband (L.D. Ratliff), her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mc. D. Bybee and two brothers, Owen Bybee of Hereford, Texas and M.D. Bybee of Childress, Texas.
Survivors include one daughter, Myra Alice Collier and son-in-law David A. Collier of Granbury, Texas. Two grandchildren, Michael David Collier and wife Michelle of Dallas, and Sharon Elizabeth Holt of College Station, Tx; one sister, Mary Helen Hander of Altus, Okla.; and nine great- grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Box 415, Spur, TX 70370.
