Born June 16, 1900 in Landes, she was the daughter of the late Adam B. Shreve and Mary Frances (VanMeter) Shreve.
Mrs. Porter was a member of the Grove Street United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Porter who died July 10, 1967, three sons, three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are one son, Johnny K. Porter, Cabins; two brothers, Elvin T. Shreve, Landes; Victor Shreve, Arthur; and one grandson, Jerry King Porter in California.
Services were conducted at the Schaeffer Funeral Home Chapel Wed. afternoon, April 8, with the Rev. Richard Longbon officiating. Interment was in the Lahmansville Cemetery.
