Adela S. Sprung, 64, of Owatonna died Oct. 10, 2011, at her home.
Adela Sanz was born on Jan. 27, 1947, to Elias Sanz and Gloria Toache in Chiapas Mexico. Adela came to the United States in 1978. She married Merle Sprung on June 11, 1983 in Owatonna. She was a homemaker, employed at Brett's Department Store and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Daughters of America and Our Lady Queen of Peace Prayer Group. Her Catholic faith was dear to her heart; along with her husband, friends and grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted husband Merle Sprung. Her children George, Alex, Hector, Adricana, Marisa, and Monica from Mexico. Shelly (Kiane) Dushek, Noel Sprung and Tiffany (Tim) Jenkins of Owatonna and eleven grandchildren in Mexico and Nash and Lexus Dushek of Owatonna.
Mass of Christian burial is set for 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A Catholic daughter of America will recite a rosary at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
