Mt. Vernon- Mrs. Katie Wickstrom Lamb, 90, died Friday, Nov. 9 at Bethany Home after a long illness. The Montgomery County native resided most of her life in Mt. Vernon. She was a housewife and member of Mt. Shady Baptist Church. Mrs. Lamb is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Lamb and two daughters, Millie Jean Lamb Connell and Margaret J. Lamb Chaddrick. Survivors: her sister, Annie Lee Bridges of Soperton; two grandsons, Gregory Connell and Freddie Connnell both of Mt. Vernon; five granddaughters, Judy Smith of Baxley, Tammy Foskey of Mt. Vernon, Sandra Fontenot of Temple, Marilyn Thrasher of of LeCompt, LA and Janet Chaddrick of Turkey Creek, LA; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at Mt. Shady Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Reeves and Rev. B.L. Horne officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Ronnie L.
