Funeral services for Patrick Johnson Dyches, 69, of Blackville, will be held three o'clock p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with burial in the Ashleigh Baptist Church Cemetery, Blackville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Pat died Wednesday, August 20, 2008.
Born in Barnwell County, he was a son of the late E. Franklin "Boy" Dyches and Annie Lou Black Dyches. He was a retired farmer and security guard and was a member of Ashleigh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Lee Clark Chavis Dyches; sons, Franklin Johnson (Pearl) Dyches, Calvin Marcus (Cindy) Dyches; sisters, Louise Still, Frances Redmond, Bonnie Laird; brother, Henry Dyches; grandchildren, Brittany Katherine, Johnathan Edwards, Steven Marcus and Christel Elizabeth Dyches; great grandchildren, Hope Nicole Dyches, Ashton Ridge Love and Trevor Dyches. He was preceded in death by brothers Wilbur, Ralph and Johnnie Dyches.
