She was born in Evansville to the late Oscar and Essie Campfield.
She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, K.C. Penrod.
She is survived by her son, Robert Penrod and his wife, Marsha, of Paducah; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, at James H. Davis Funeral Home chapel in Owensboro.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Butler County.
