MEDFORD, Ore., Aug. 6.-- Abner Bliss, 52, was instantly killed yesterday when crushed by a runaway tractor at Shan Creek.

His body was discovered after the tractor had backed over it. The driver did not know Biss had fallen or had been thrown from the vehicle.
