Mrs. Bessie B. DeLong, 100, of 715 Greythorne Road, Wynnewood, Montgomery County, formerly of East Greenville, died Monday in Bryn Mawr Terrace. She reportedly was the
oldest member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville, where her late husband, the Rev. Dr. Calvin M. DeLong, served as pastor for 50 years. A graduate of
Kutztown University, she was employed briefly as an elementary school teacher. She then became superintendent of the primary department at the church. Born in McKeansburg, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late David and Emma (Bolich) Bauscher.
Surviving are a daughter Betty, wife of Wilmer D. Greulich, with whom she resided; a grandson and a great-grandson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. A
calling period will precede the services. The Mann Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, is in charge of arrangements.
