Laura M. Broeseker, 74, of Berlin RD 3, died Oct. 8, 1975. She was
born March 1, 1901, in Brothersvalley Towship [sic], the daughter of
the late Morgan and Emma (Stuck) Dickey. Preceded in death by her
husband, Karl, in 1973. Survived by three daughters: Mrs. Wilbert
(Phyllis) King of Alexandria, Va.; Mrs. Dale (Linda) Pepin of North
Ridgeville, Ohio; Mrs. Fred (Glenda) Speicher of Hershey, Pa.; also
six grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Ruth Broeseker, Miss
Mary Dickey, Mrs. Ada Duppstadt, all of Berlin RD 3; and Glen of
Sandy Lake, Pa. She was a member of Hay's Mount Zion United Church
of Christ, Hillcrest Grange or more than 50 years, Mountaineer
Homemakers Club and Berlin Senior Citizens. Friends are being
received in the Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, until noon
Saturday. Mrs. Broeseker will be taken to Hay's Church to lie in
state from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., the hour of service. The Rev. Daniel
Whitacre will officiate. Interment, Hay's Church Cemetery.
