Richard B. Adsitt Sr., 83, of Syracuse died Friday. Born in North Syracuse, he graduated from North Syracuse High School. He retired in 1981 from Carrier Corp. He was a life member of Pastime Athletic Club. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion in Manlius. His wife, Katherine E., died in 1986. Survivors: Two sons, Richard J. of Camillus and James of Syracuse; a grandchild. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home. Burial, Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Syracuse. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 3700 W. Genesee St., Fairmount. Contributions: Pastime Athletic Club, 1314 N. Salina St., Syracuse 13208.
