Ephriam Coleman, of West Lafayette, died at St Elizabeth hospital at 10:50 o'clock yesterday morning of hardening of the arteries after an illness of several weeks. Mr Coleman was born in Hamilton, Ohio, September 18, 1848, and came to this county when he was a small boy. For a number of years, he was in the contracting business.
Surviving are four children, Walter and Roy Coleman and Mrs. Elizabeth Barry, of this city and Miss Izora Coleman, of Toronto, Canada. He is also survived by four brothers, Henry, of Denver, Colorado, Joseph, of Mussel Shoals, Alabama; John of Akron, Ohio, and Charles, of this city.,
The body was taken to the Evans Templeton parlors and will be taken to the home of the son, Walter Coleman, 332 Chauncey avenue today, from where the funeral will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev G W Watson will officiate. Interment will be made in Springvale cemetery. (Lafayette newspaper?)
