Linda loved the Lord and being a part of her church community at Desert Hills Community Church of the Nazarene, and was actively involved in its music, children's church and many other functions.
She was very passionate in children's Christian education and aside from teaching children's church, she co-founded the first Christian school in Gooding, Idaho, Heritage Christian Academy, where she taught for several years.
Linda also loved farm life, growing food and raising animals. She was very active in many of Idaho's farmers' markets, baking pies, selling vegetables and was affectionately known to many locals as "The Pie Lady".
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Marilynne Sailors.
She is survived by her father, Kenny Sailors, of Laramie, WY; brother, Dan (Jean) Sailors, of AK; daughters: Carrie (Manuel) Gallegos, of Gooding, I, and Gailynne (Kirk) Eld, of Nampa, ID; sons: Paul (Katie) Money, of Verburg, Sweden, and David Money, of Burbank, CA; and grandchildren, Jeremiah Booher, Marilynne Booher, Breanna Money, Sierra Money and Matilda Money.
Linda is loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Desert Hills Community Church of the Nazarene in Gooding.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.
