Mrs. Zonna Mae Hutcheson, age 86, of Vidalia, died early Thursday morning, December 24, 2020 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after a brief illness. Zonna Mae was a native of Soperton living in Vidalia the last 51 years. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of the Vidalia Advent Christian Church. Zonna Mae was a loving mother and grandmother who never met a stranger, loved her Lord, and everyone she met and loved her gospel music.
Mrs. Zonna Mae is preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Hutcheson; and two sons, Allen Hutcheson, and Alton Hutcheson.
Mrs. Zonna Mae is survived by one son, Lamar (Libby) Hutcheson of Tarrytown; and four daughters, Wanda Lightsey of Vidalia, Loudie Hutcheson of Vidalia, Debra (Glen) Kirkland of Vidalia, Wendy McDilda of Vidalia, and one brother, Neubern Barwick of Vidalia. Thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Zonna Mae Hutcheson will be Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Rev Albert White officiating. Interment will follow at Hutcheson Cemetery in Soperton. The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
