Services for Charles Howard Thompson 83, of 1312 58th Place are scheduled for 2pm today in Resthaven-Singleton-Wilson Chapel with the Rev. Jim Suthlin pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of the above funeral Home.
Thompson died at 12:45 pm Saturday in a Dallas Hospital. A resiodent of Lubbock since 1937 and was a retired businessman. He was a member of the Yelowstone Masonic Lodge, the Firs Christian Church and the American Legion.
Thompson is survived by wife Melina Eve, a son, C. H. Thompson Jr.,daughter Delores Henson of Phoenix Arz. And four grandchildren.
