EDWIN C. HOVENDEN
Edwin C. Hovenden, 80, of Woodburn, died Sunday night, Sept. 8, at a Salem hospital. He was born at Hubbard and lived in this area all his life. He farmed until entering semi-retirement about ten years ago. Survivors include the widow, Alice, whom he married in 1916, of Woodburn; sons, Glen of Portland, and Wayne and Howard of Woodburn; sister, Effie Woodruff of St. Paul; and one granddaughter. Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Chapel. Rev. Thomas Hall officiated. Interment was in Belle Passi Cemetery.
