Woods Cross - Funeral services for George Grant Lallis, 37, Woods Cross, who was shot and accidentally killed Saturday while elk hunting, will be Wednesday noon, South Bountiful Second Ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Friends may call at Union Mortuary, Bountiful, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., or Wednesday from 10-11:30 a.m. Burial at Memorial Estates.
He was born Nov. 21, 1926, in Salt Lake City, to Evan George and Amy Maud Briggs Lallis. He married Sandra Renne Moss Aug. 20, 1948, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was active in the LDS Church, as an elder and ward clerk. He was a World War II veteran, and was employed as a pattern maker at Hill Air Force Base.
Survivors: widow; son and daughters, Michael Grant, Catherine, Diane, all Woods Cross; mother, Bountiful; brother, sisters, Charles Dean, Layton; Mrs. J. P. (Martha) Ahern, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. William A. (LaRue) McDonald, Salt Lake City; Mrs. N. S. (Lorraine) Dawson, Centerville, Davis County.
