Judge Holmes Dead

We regret to learn of the death of Judge E. A. Holmes of the upper part of this county, which occurred the first of the month. We are not in receipt of the particulars of his death, but know that Montgomery County suffered a distinct loss in his death. Quiet and unobtrusive, honest and truthful a gentleman of the old school and a good citizen has passed to his reward.

He was a resident of the Zaidee Community and was about 85 years old.
