Myron Myers

Services for Myron Myers, 86, of the Auburn community, formerly of Topeka, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. He died Tuesday morning in a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Myers fell and broke his hip Jan. 9 and had been hospitalized since then.

He was a carpenter for many years prior to his retirement approximately 10 years ago.

He was born Sept. 28, 1877 at Centralia in Nemaha County. He and Mrs. Myers celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary Aug. 10, 1963. The couple lived at 1805 Sims in Topeka for 43 years. The past five years, Mr. and Mrs. Myers have made their home with a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Bennett, of the Auburn community. The home is on Route 9, Topeka.

Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Myers, and daughter, Mrs. Thelma L. Bennett, both of the home; a son, Ernest Myers, Madison, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Seder, Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Stella Vanderpool, Burlington, Wash.; and two grandsons.
