Mollie Taliaferro DuVal, 91, died Wednesday, May 29, 1991 in Gloucester. She was a native of Gloucester and the widow of John Tabb DuVal, who was a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates and former Commonwealth Attorney of Gloucester County. She was a member of the Ware Episcopal Church, the Ware River Circle of the Kings Daughters, the Joseph Bryan Branch of the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities, a charter member of the Garden Club of Gloucester, and a former member of the Gloucester Woman's Club. She is survived by a son, Hansford Taliaferro DuVal of Gloucester; and five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ware Episcopal Church by the Rev. Daniel O. Worthington, Jr., Rector. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family suggests memorials be made in the form of contributions to the Ware Episcopal Church, Gloucester Library, or the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society. Services are being directed by the Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester.
