SAVANNA — Funeral service for Mrs. John (Carrie) Allison of Savanna was held today in Law-Jones Funeral Home here. Burial was in Savanna Township Cemetery. Mrs. Allison, who died Thursday in Sunny Side Nursing Home in Warren, was a member of United Community Church here.
She was born in Jo Daviess County June 11, 1884, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Becker) Eversoll. She was married to John Allison in 1909 in Savanna. He died in 1950. Survivors include a son; a daughter; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, John of Schapville; a foster brother, Bill Cole of Galena; and two sisters, including Mrs. Daisy Wilson of Warren. She was also preceded in death by three sons.
