Born Yetta Conkling Sept. 20, 1886, in Lyons, she married Harry A. Speck Dec. 8, 1917, in Lyons. They moved to Hutchinson in 1940. He died Feb. 28, 1964. She graduated from Washburn College, Topeka, in 1910, was a member of the Lyons Presbyterian Church, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and was past president of the Kansas State Chapter of PEO.
Survivors include a brother: Gerald M. Conkling, Bethesda, Md.; sister: Mrs. Catherine C. Hussey, Topeka.
Graveside ceremony will be 2 p.m. Monday, Graceland Cemetery, Lyons; the Rev. Richard H. Preston. The family suggests memorials to Washburn College or Wesley Towers. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Elliott Chapel.
