"On Thursday, December 30, 1937, at 7:55 p.m. at his late residence, 1008 Sherman Avenue, Duquesne, Charles B. Keck, age 69 years. Solemn requiem high mass at 9 a.m., Monday January 3 at Holy Name Church, Duquesne. Interment in Saint Thomas Cemetery, Braddock."

Side note: Burial is incorrect in obituary. Death certificate states burial in Braddock Catholic Cemetery. Also, death certificate list birthdate as March 1, 1868. However, he's in the 1870 census as 9 years old.

Further side note:
St. Joseph and St. Thomas Parishes, Braddock, opened adjoining cemeteries in 1883. In 1911, the two cemeteries merged and were incorporated under the name of "Braddock Catholic Cemetery," totaling 65 acres. The diocese assumed the management of this cemetery in 1927. In 1997, Bishop Donald Wuerl renamed the cemetery All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Garden crypts were added in 1999.

Early death certificates sometimes have St. Joseph Cemetery or St. Thomas Cemetery, and even Monongahela Cemetery, which can really cause confusion. Luckily the cemeteries themselves had extensive and accurate records, so there haven't been too many duplicates on Find A Grave. Submitted by (47389024)
