Ernest A.Alexander,highway commissioner of Buckhart township,died at his home,four miles east of Edinburg at 11:15 olock Friday morning, following an illness of two weeks.

He was the son of J.K.Alexander and was born, raised and spent most of his life on the farm on which he died.
He attended the Edinburg high school and later the University of Illinois.

He was about thirty seven years old and was married to Miss Hallie Mathews in 1911, who with one daughter, Mary Frances survives. He is also survived by his father, who is with his daughter, Mrs. Slate of Sandusky, Mich, spending the winter, two sisters and three brothers.

The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
