Dominic was born one of six children born to Giovanni Aiello and Rosina.
He graduated from Clovis High School and shortly after met the love of his life, Tina. They were married in May, 1949, raising two devoted children, John and Cynthia.
Dominic resided in Fresno his entire life employed in the farming industry.
He was an active and energetic member of the Italian Catholic Federation and the Sons of Italy Lodge serving as branch president for many years. Dominic was never impressed with material belongings, enjoying only the simple things in life. He cherished his family and grandchildren and he instilled in his children a strong work ethic. He especially enjoyed the time he spent in Morro Bay with his family. He loved his garden with the many beautiful ponds. Dominic was always there for his family and would do anything for them. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
Dominic's parents; his wife, Tina; brothers, Anthony and Vincent; and sister, Josephine Roveto preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, John and his wife Lucinda; their children, Amanda Beck, husband, Chris, Brett Aiello; daughter, Cynthia Aiello-Blake; brother, Robert Aiello; sister, Frances Aiello.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
