The Lexington Intelligencer, July 13, 1901Lexington, Mo.Mrs. Caroline Foster Ford DeadDied Sunday evening at 4:45 o'clock, at the family residence three and one-half miles southeast of this city, Mrs. Caroline Foster Ford, aged 86 years, 8 months and 10 days.She was married December 1st, 1831, and nine children were born, seven of whom survive her. They are Mrs. L.G. Barbour, of Richmond, Ky.; Col. C.Y. Ford, of Greenton, Mo.; James, Wm. B. and Walter P., of Lexington; Charles of Oklahoma, Ter., and Mr. E.L. Beeding, of St. Louis. The other children were John, Killed during the war, and Mrs. Xen. Ryland, deceased of this city.Mrs. Ford was a most excellent woman of beautiful Christian character and was highly esteemed and greatly beloved by those who knew her best. Though waiting long, she has at last been called to meet the loved ones gone before and to rest in the home prepared for the faithful of God.The funeral took place from the residence, southeast of town, at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. E.C. Gordon officiating
