Ron and his family also lived in Germany, Holland, and Japan, his dad retired to Niceville, Florida, and Ron graduated from Choctahatchee High School in 1965, He married Joan, right after he joined the army and was sent on a tour to Vietnam during the height of the Tet Offensive, Ron by law was not to be sent to a combat area because he was the only son of an only son of an only son and the only one left to carry on the Graddy name. Ron and I were very close when we were growing up after his parents retired to Niceville. I was with his mom when aunt Mona died and also with his father soon after he died in his sleep, and had to call Ron both times. Hope this helps out..................Darrell
