Ms. Miller was a graduate of Clarence High School, received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Kansas and a Master of Arts Degree in educational guidance from Columbia University in New York, NY. She was the Assistant Dean of Women at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL from 1949 to 1953.
She accepted a position as teacher - counselor at Clarence High School beginning with the 1953-54 school year to be near and care for her Mother, Nettie. Later she taught at South Shelby High School until retirement. She resided at 519 Madison Street in Macon until she moved to the Loch Haven Nursing Home.
She was a kind and gentle person who dedicated her life to her family and education.
