Nevin E. Queer, 65,, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Somerset, died Jan. 24 in Barberton Citizens Hospital. Born Sept. 20, 1908 in Somerset, a son of the late Harry and Effie Stutzman Queer. Preceded in death by one brother, Harry. Survived by his wife, the former Henrietta Miller; two sons, Ernest of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Charles of Tallmadge, Ohio; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also survived by one sister, Mrs. Lena St. Clair of Revanna, Ohio and one brother, William Queer of Somerset. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, Disabled American War Veterans, American Legion Post 209 of Akron, Ohio. He was a retired Teamsters and Truck Drivers Union member. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Army. Friends are being received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.
Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
