Ezra M Loucks, 80, retired farmer, died Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 in the home of his daughter, Mrs John Wallace of Goshen, route 3 of complications of age. He had been in failing health the past year and bedfast the past week

He was born March 3, 1864, in Olive township, Elkhart county the son of Mr and Mrs John Loucks. He was married to Sarah Dollman in 1886. She died in 1904.

He is survived by two sons; John Loucks of Toledo, O, and Alvin Loucks of Longbeach, Calif, two daughters, Mrs John Wallace, at whose home he passed away, and Mrs Mahlon A Weaver of this place; 18 grandchildren;
six brothers, Peter of Toledo, O; Isaac and Lee of Goshen, Aaron of Elkhart, Walter of North Manchester and Melvin of this place; six sisters, Mrs Everet Hahn and Mrs George McClintic of Elkhart; Mrs William Brubaker of New Paris, Mrs George Moyer, Mrs Sol Moyer and Mrs Clayton Shriner of this place.

He was a member of the Dunkard Brethren church.

Friends may call at the Culp funeral home until Friday morning, at which time the body will be taken to the Wallace home where a service will be held Sunday at 1:30 and 2:30 at the Olive church north of here, with Rev B F Kessler of the Dunkard Brethren church, officiating. Burial in Olive cemetery.
