Margaret Elizabeth McDowell
COOKEVILLE -- Graveside services for Margaret Elizabeth McDowell, 93, of Nashville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Cookeville City Cemetery.
A special welcome to attend the services is extended to all family and friends.
Mrs. McDowell died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, in Nashville.
She was born May 26, 1918, in Cookeville to the late Harding Lessenberry Bilyeu and Lula Setta Boyd Bilyeu.
Mrs. McDowell was a homemaker, loving wife and devoted mother of four children.
Her family includes a son, John Edward McDowell; a daughter, Mary Catherine McDowell Webb; two grandchildren, Curtis Lee McDowell and Amanda Paige McDowell; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; her husband, Alvin W. McDowell; and two sons, James Curtis McDowell and William Reed McDowell.
