Doris (Brick) Lucile Duffy, 78, a resident of The Dalles, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, in Portland of heart failure.
She was born March 19, 1927, in Hermiston to Minnie and Robert Wilson.
Her occupations included serving as Chenowith School District payroll clerk and working for Duffy Construction. She served on the Elections Board and was a member of the Iris Society. She was active in her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Duffy, sisters Phyllis Baker and Audrey Smith, sons Kent and Brad Duffy, and daughter Lynda Duffy-Moore, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Todd; brothers Pat (Robert), Dallas and Ted; and sisters Gladys Morrison, Imogen Johnston and Elsie McClaskey.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Civic Auditorium.
Rememberances may be made to the Celilo Cancer Center, 1700 E. 19th St., The Dalles, OR 97058.

Gravesite Details

Half of Brick's ashes are buried near her son, Todd. The other half rests with those of her husband, interred on Oct. 6, 2012. Personal friend, permission given to me to use publication.
