Bertha McCoy, 82, formerly of East Galesburg, Illinois died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
Born May 10, 1921, in Canton to Albert and Anna Traynor, she married Harold McCoy on Dec. 24, 1941, in St. Charles, Mo. He died Sept. 26, 1990.
Surviving is one daughter, Judith (and Gene) Harshbarger of Harrison, Ohio.
She worked as a nurse's aide at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria.
She also worked for Maytag Corp. in Galesburg for 15 years.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside memorial service will be at Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville.
