DEATH TAKES RUTH L. LIVINGSTON

Mrs. Ruth L. Livingston, 45, a native of Edna, died Sunday at her home in Coffeyville where she had lived the past 13 years.

The body was found by her 14-year-old son, Clifford, on his return home at 6 p.m. The Montgomery County Coroner estimated death occurred during the forenoon. Death was attributed to a stroke.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Rhodes she was born here Sept. 1, 1920, and grew to womanhood in Edna. She was married to Dewey K. Livingston.

Survivors include two sons, Clifford of the home and Douglas, Wichita; a daughter, Mrs. Arlon Strate, Bartlesville, Okla., three grandchildren; four brothers, Howard, Hubert, and Joseph Rhodes, all of Edna, and Charles, Chanute; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Podriznik, Renton, Wash.

She was a member of the South Coffeyville Methodist Chruch where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Robert Rowley. Burial was in North Edna Cemetery.

The Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge.

Pallbearers were L. L. Young, Fred Masters, Eddie Beard, Lawence Titus, Martin Palson and Glenn Pomeroy.
