Mrs. Melissa F. Parks, 82, widow of Willaim T. Parks, died suddenly of a heart attack yesterday morning at the home of her son, the Rev. Ezra L. Parks, Altoona. She was a member of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, Juniata.

In addition to the Rev. Mr. Parks, she is survived by two sons. Elmer, of this city, and Melvin Parks, of Shamokin; a sister, Mrs. W. W. Fisher, of Milton, Del.; a brother, Edward L. Landon, of Marian Station, Md.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. at the Baker Funeral Home, Third and Maclay Streets. Burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. this evening.
