ELMER J. ADAMS
Elmer J. Adams, 84, of 121 E. 4th St., Atalissa, died Sunday morning at Mercy hospital, Davenport. Mr. Adams was born Dec. 3, 1885, at Chambersburg, II., the son of Delbert and Mary Green Adams. He was married July 5. 1909, to Mary Todd, at Pittsfield, Ill.
Mr. Adams had formerly been employed by the Barry Pulley Co., and was a member of the International Association of Machinists.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Mary T. Adams, Atalissa; one son, James Adams, Muscatine; three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Lucille) Petty, Muscatine. Mrs. Iran (Frances) Law and Mrs. C. B. (Esther) Atkins, both of Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
The body is at the Fairbank home for funerals, where friends may call. Rev. Walter Ross will conduct services at 1 p. m. Tuesday at the Fairbanks chapel.
Interment will be at Memorial Park.
