OBITUARY
Esther Shultz Greisinger was born in Somerset Co., Pa., Nov. 13, 1817, and died Dec. 13, 1900, of spinal meningitis, aged 84 years and 1 month. In 1836 she united in marriage with G. H. Greisinger. In 1845 they removed to Ohio and settled on the farm until 9 years ago when they moved to the home of their daughter, Mrs. Horatio Berkey where they both ended their days. She was converted in 1856 and united with the Evangelical church and ever remained an exemplary christian. To them were born 6 children, 3 daughters and her husband have preceeded her to the home above. Three sons, a daughter, 29 grand-children and 19 great grand-children survive her. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Frye, who used as a text: "For me to live is Christ, to die is gain." Her funeral was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
