Laverne Bower was born and raised in Akron, NY. Upon graduating high school he worked for a while in the construction industry learning the carpentry trade. He eventually moved to Sarasota, FL where he made a living as a carpenter/construction contractor. Records indicate that he was married three times and divorced twice. He died while living with his daughter and her husband in Louisville, TN on June 1, 2009. He was cremated and his remains were buried with his parents at Saint Teresa's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Akron, NY.
