Opal was born in Potwin, KS, the third of five daughters, to Arthur and Flora Lyon. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Margaret Chapter in Wakeeney, KS. For many years she was a sales clerk in the housewares department at Bucks Dept. Store in Wichita.
Preceded in death by her husband, William M. Jospeh; daughters, Carmen Brucks and Arlene Neff; four sisters.
Survivors: grandchildren, Robert Neff of Wichita, Sue Williams of Weatherford, TX, Lynda Neff of Aurora, CO, Donna Neff of Wichita, Dana Greenwood of Riverside WY; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
