Born in Honea Path, SC, she was a daughter of Ina Melle Kanning Mattison and the late Eugene Mattison. She retired from Dixie Narco having worked in First Aid and the Benefits Department. Gloria was a member of Winfield Heights Baptist Church where she taught in the Children's Department, GA's and was a member of the WMU. She formerly worked as an EMT for the Williston Rescue Squad.
Survivors include her mother, of Honea Path; husband, William Thomas "Tommy" Landis of the home, daughters, Rhonda (Ken) Bolen, Pam (Jamie) Fields all of Williston; sisters, Edna Fleming, Wanda Motes, Elaine Ashley all of Honea Path; brothers, Jerry Mattison, Larry Joe Mattison, Jimmy Mattison all of Honea Path; grandchildren, Kenny Mac Bolen, Mattison Bolen, Tucker Fields; sister-in-law, Peggy (Chick) Williamson of North Augusta and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Mattison.
