Funeral services for Gloria Jean Mattison Landis, 66, of Williston, SC will be held four p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Williston First Baptist Church with burial in The Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Wednesday, February 11, at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Memorial contributions may be sent to Winfield Heights Baptist Church, The Eddie Yelton Building Fund, 315 Chester St., Williston, SC, 29853. Gloria died on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.

Born in Honea Path, SC, she was a daughter of Ina Melle Kanning Mattison and the late Eugene Mattison. She retired from Dixie Narco having worked in First Aid and the Benefits Department. Gloria was a member of Winfield Heights Baptist Church where she taught in the Children's Department, GA's and was a member of the WMU. She formerly worked as an EMT for the Williston Rescue Squad.

Survivors include her mother, of Honea Path; husband, William Thomas "Tommy" Landis of the home, daughters, Rhonda (Ken) Bolen, Pam (Jamie) Fields all of Williston; sisters, Edna Fleming, Wanda Motes, Elaine Ashley all of Honea Path; brothers, Jerry Mattison, Larry Joe Mattison, Jimmy Mattison all of Honea Path; grandchildren, Kenny Mac Bolen, Mattison Bolen, Tucker Fields; sister-in-law, Peggy (Chick) Williamson of North Augusta and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Mattison.
