Charlie A. Elkins, age 75 years, retired farmer of the Magnolia Section died Sunday night at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, where he had been a patient for several weeks.
He is survived by one son, Elmer Elkins, of Buffalo; three daughters, Mrs. Guy Benningfield and Mrs. Florence Benningfield, both of Magnolia and Mrs. Elbert Helm, of Elizabethtown, and three brothers, Joe Elkins, Magnolia; Jake Elkins, of Middleton, Tenn. and Will Elkins of Illinois.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church near Mt. Sherman with interment in the church cemetery.
