Mr Everett Lee Behel 82 Greenhill Al died tuesday Dec 12 2000 after a brief illness.
Visitation will be 5-9 pm Wednesday Dec 13 2000 at Greenhill Funeral home. The funeral will be 10 am Thursday Dec 14 2000, at Atlas Church of Christ with burial in Atlas Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church 9-10 am Thursday.
Officiating at the funeral will be Tim Grisby.
He was a native of Lauderdale Co., Al.
He is survived by his wife Kate Nell Behel, Greenhill, daughter Nell Marie Lawrence, Madison, Brenda Fitzgeral and husband Billy, Hudy Hennessee and husband Steve both of Florence, brother Lambert of greenhill, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son Larry Everett Behel, 6 brothers and on sister, son-in-law Jerry Lawrence, grandson Timothy Lawrence, parents Ray and Bertha Grisby Behel.
Pallbearers will include Melvin, Ronnie, Donald, Caseym David, RI, and Eddie Behel.
He was retired from Reynolds Metals. He was a member Lone Cedar Church of Christ, a veteran of WWII serving asa medical corpsman in the US Army.
