Elisha and Lesha Wilt Jinkins were also the parents of Catherine Jinkins Fazenbaker, Easter Jinkins Broadwater, Mary Jinkins Wilt, and Solomon Jinkins who married Mary Jane Fazenbaker.

Elisha was the son of Samuel Jinkins and first wife Catherine. He was born in Loudoun County, VA. His parents emigrated to Western Maryland at approximately the same time as the Broadwater family and settled next to them on the Savage River. He and his father bought property from the Brant Farm.
