Born Feb. 23, 1919, in Thermopolis, she was the only child of Robert and Lula (Sillyman) Upton. Glendean graduated as valedictorian of her 1937 high school class.
On July 14, 1940, she married Earl Millard Myers in Thermopolis. The couple owned and operated the Manhattan Café during the 1950s. Thermopolites will remember Glendean as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. She served 38 years and retired in 1986. She was a member of Easter Star Vesper Chapter 19, VFW Auxiliary, DAV Auxiliary and the longest living member of Community Federated Church.
Survivors include her son, Robert (JoAnn) Myers of Thermopolis; four grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
Glendean was preceded in death were her husband; parents; and one daughter, Cleta Norrine Myers (2010).
Burial has taken place at Monument Hill Cemetery.
