Farmed in the Genoa area for 30 years and retired 17 years ago. Recently had been interested in cattle buying. He was married to Miss Carolyn Patterson on November 24, 1880. One child preceded him in death. Besides the widow, he is survived
by two daughters, Mrs. Otto Holtgren of Elgin, and Mrs. R. B. Patterson of Genoa, two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Williams of Genoa and Mrs. A. J. Williams of Otis, Colo., one brother, Milton J.
of Genoa and one grandson. Funeral services were held at 2 o-clock Monday afternoon from the
Methodist church at Genoa. Interment was in the Genoa cemetery
