Michael's sister Amelia married Thomas Wissinger and purchased the farm directly above the current Mine 40 Community. Thomas and Amelia's second child Amanda is buried in the Baumgardner Cemetery. Amanda was born on August 4, 1865 and died on October 5, 1866. Michael and Amelia's farm bordered each other on the current Berwick Road.
