Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Island, where she was a member. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Island.
Grace was born on Oct. 24, 1928, in Liberty Center, Ohio, the daughter of James and Sadie Whitmire Kessler. She married Riffe Seymour on Sept. 29, 1946, in Ohio.
She enjoyed gardening, trips to the farmers markets and attending Bill Gaither concerts.
Survivors include her children, Riffann and Ron Klavohn, Bolingbrook, Ill., Clarence and Barb Seymour, Milan; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Pauline Lambert, Harold Kessler and Bernice Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, four infant children, two sisters and four brothers.
