Armstrong, John L. (Jack), age 52 of Trotwood passed away Tuesday April 20, 1999. John was a member of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of Shepherd of Christ prayer group. He was a long term employee of B.G. Danis Construction. John was preceded in death by his son, Michael A. Armstrong, and parents, John L. & Marion Armstrong. Jack is survived by 1 daughter, Robin D. Armstrong (Dion Spears); his son Mark Armstrong (Pam); 4 grandchildren, Brittany, Mark Jr., Mycol Armstrong, and Sterling Spears, 6 brothers, Mikey, David (Vicky), Bobby, Billy, Richard & Thomas; 2 sisters, Anita Still and Vicky Hensen; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call Monday morning from 9 to 11 am at the Magetti-Gavin Funeral Home, 1508 Valley Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Smithville Rd., with Father Gary Aultz Celebrant. Prayers 11:15 am Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
