LEWISTOWN - Shirley A. (McLaughlin-Bowen) Dinsmore, 74, of Lewistown, a retired accountant and office manager, died of natural causes Thursday, Oct. 6, at her daughter's home in Great Falls.
Shirley was born June 27, 1937, to Thomas and Elvera McLaughlin in Great Falls. It was there that she was raised and educated, graduating from Great Falls High School in 1955. She married Joe Bowen in Great Falls in 1954; they divorced in 1980.
On Feb. 14, 1981, Shirley married Ken Dinsmore in Great Falls.
Shirley enjoyed bowling and traveling, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed symphony music and the arts that took place around Montana. Shirley always placed the interests of others and her family ahead of her own needs.
Shirley is survived by her four daughters, a son, a sister, three brothers, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Dinsmore; parents, Thomas and Elvera McLaughlin; daughter Kathleen Bowen; brothers, Tom McLaughlin and Aaron McLaughlin; and sisters Betty Bell and Sharon Sides.
